The Journey to Cebu, 
The Herbich International Art & Marketing Corporation
I submitted to Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog the study that I made and after suggesting  a few minor modifications, he finally approved the project in February 2011. 

















And when all the papers had been fixed, after all the contracts between me and the Donor had been drawn, and after meeting with the Engineers of FF Cruz and Company, the Engineering firm building the City Hall and who would install the Lin-ay after its completion we then proceeded to the Foundry Company in Cebu, to the Herbich International Art and Marketing Corporation in Cotcot, Liloan, Cebu. This place was going to be our next studio and our place of residence for the duration of the work on the Lin-ay. 

I formed a team of one utility man and two major sculptors which would be reinforced by the employed men of the Foundry Company.

But of course the surest sign was when the Badjaos started appearing at the waters beside our boat...fantastic swimmers and divers, they would dive for coins thrown at them by passengers of the boat...and seldom would they miss in retrieving the coins...
